Best time to visit Mauritius

Tourists want to have a gala time and want to enjoy themselves at the place they choose to visit. They, of course, need to be familiar about the seasons of the respective place they are visiting. Mauritius is no exception to this.

Mauritius enjoys a tropical climate and therefore tourists can visit the place anytime. In fact one comes across tourists throughout the whole year.

The best time to visit Mauritius is from July onwards to September. The winter season begins in July and ends in September. This is the best time to visit the place as the temperatures are tolerable. The humidity as well as the rising temperatures of the summer simmers down gradually by the time it is the month of July. There is no rainfall in winter. During this season the temperature is moderate and there is cool breeze from the beautiful palms tress and the beaches are alluring.

The summer season needs to be avoided as it is very hot as well as humid. Tourists cannot enjoy during this weather. This season from November to around May needs to be avoided as the temperatures can be very intolerable, humidity is very high

Christmas season is the time when many tourists visit Mauritius. It is the festive spirit that draws them to the place.

The scuba divers can make beeline to this place between the months of December and March. The time between June and August is good for surfing. And the period between the months of October as well as April is good for fishing.

The months between January and April are of course prone to cyclones.

Naturally, tourists can have gal time during the winter season when the climate is mild. Winter is the best time to visit Mauritius.
